NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING On Thursday, May 20, 2021, the Zoning Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Conference Room on the 1st Floor of the Dr. Mae Jackson Development Center located at 401 Franklin Avenue, Waco, Texas, via videoconference in accordance with Governor Gregg Abbott's emergency orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Texas Open Meetings Act. The Board Members will attend remotely by videoconference. All parties interested and to all parties concerned who wish to speak remotely during the public hearing must sign up by email, by emailing, or by calling (254) 750-5657 no later than 12:00 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2021 for staff assistance. A variance not to install the required interior parking lot landscaping, per Section 28-218(d) of the City of Waco Zoning Ordinance, on a lot zoned M-2, Light Industrial, also described as: Lot 2, Block 1, Midway High School Addition, also known as 8200 Mars Drive. A variance to the off-street parking requirement of 52 spaces, per Sec. 28-1021 (b)(23) of the City of Waco Zoning Ordinance to 37 spaces and a 15ft. variance to the required 25ft. rear yard setback, per Section 28-627(1)(c) of the City of Waco Zoning Ordinance, on a lot zoned C-2, Community Commercial, also described as: Lot 4, Block 1, C R Collier Addition, also known as 3601 N. 19th Street.
