Baz Luhrmann has a four-hour cut of Elvis
The director's biopic, starring Austin Butler as Elvis Presley and Tom Hanks as his manager Colonel Tom Parker has a runtime of 2 hours 39 minutes - but Luhrmann has revealed it could have been much longer. He revealed to the RadioTimes.com, "I mean, I have a four-hour version, actually. I do. But you have to bring it down to 2 hours 30." The Moulin Rouge! filmmaker went on to explain what scenes he had to leave on the cutting room floor for the theatrical release, which hits cinemas on Friday.
