I would like to shine some light at the end of the tunnel. If convicted and sentenced to a federal correctional facility, he can receive pay for his work behind bars. However, he will have to complete 80% of his sentence. TDCJ-ID does not pay for offender labor, but you get "good time." I hope this brings a smile to his face.
