CrossFit Waco held a “Share the Love” benefit Dec. 3, partnering with the Brazos Education Foundation to raise money to donate toward a school scholarship in the name of Kenneth Love.
Love, a CrossFit Waco member, was killed in an altercation in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Oct. 23. The 2007 Waco High School graduate was the son of Waco High Principal Ed Love.
Teams of two could compete in the CrossFit benefit, going through a heat and being scored based on their timed performances in specific workouts.
Special “Share the Love” T-shirts also were sold to raise funds.
