Maybe it’s a senior opting to age in place rather than move to an assisted living community.
Perhaps Grandma is being released from the hospital and needs a walk-in shower to eliminate the fall risk, as opposed to a tub she has to climb over.
Or maybe it’s a homeowner who just doesn’t take baths anymore.
Whatever the reason, Eric Peschke said tub-to-shower conversions are the most popular home renovations occurring right now in the housing market. But overall, our lifestyle habits have quickened, meaning that the majority of today’s homeowners don’t have time to take a luxurious soak in a tub before heading to work or a night out on the town.”
